COFFEE I take my coffee often, with cream and sugar (or vanilla creamer and agave syrup, as it were). I wake up every morning looking forward to coffee, without fail.

DRIVE I moved to Chicago when I was 18. From a tiny town in the cornfields of Indiana. I had never been to Chicago before the night I moved there. But to do what I wanted to do, there was no other option for me. So I figured it out. And I built a life there that I loved. Then I moved to LA. Because to do what I wanted to do, there was no other option for me. A lot has changed about me since I was 18, but some things haven’t. Behind the wheel, I can still drive a manual or an automatic. In life, I still have the drive to do anything.

FAMILY I am the product of a Canadian railroad worker and a small town gal from Indiana. I have a younger sister and a younger brother with whom I share history, inside jokes and about as many similarities as differences. As I've grown up, I've been lucky enough to collect an incredible assortment of friends, one of whom I just married. They are also now my family. Not replacements. Additions. Because we get to do that. Choose our family, that is. After all, what is family if not a group of people out there in the world, usually scattered, who, despite distance and infrequency of phone calls and in-person visits, still think about you and hope for you and know the you that you know you are. Even, and especially, when you've forgotten.
JOB I am an auditioning, training, working Actor. I am an Interior Designer. I am building a small business called 'pluck'. I have set up my days, part-fortune and part-insistence, to be filled with work that does not feel like work.

LISTS I make lists all the time. Lists for everything. Few things make my head feel more clear than making a list. I actually think you can learn a lot about a person by looking at their lists- what’s written on them, what they’re written on, if they check completed items off or cross them out.

PLUCK It means spirited and determined courage. It's one of those great, old words that no one uses anymore. I think one of the best compliments you could give me would be to say that I have pluck. And gumption. I'd love that also.
YES In improv, the rule is to say yes- to everything. Trust. Because you never want to stop something short of what it could become just because you don’t immediately see where it’s going. It’s been one of the best lessons I’ve learned in life.
