A. | Anticipation

I am confident I would pass the marshmallow test, but that’s really only because I don’t like marshmallows. When it comes to waiting, I am constantly torn between that effervescent feeling of imagining what it will be like and the emphatic tug of wanting to be there already.

If you’re like me, you scan your calendar until you find that date that marks that thing you already know is coming- a new season, a vacation, the day Salt & Straw releases their new monthly flavors- just for the thrill of re-remembering it. Because for that split second, you are suspended in a moment where it all exists- the possibility and the reality- and you get to feel it all.

And so it is with this website here. Though it is still taking shape and there is no launch date to mark on your calendar yet, there is a lot you can look forward to. There will be stories- filmed and written, fiction and non-fiction (and some that blur the line between both). There will be prompted conversations and collaborative adventures meant to infuse a little magic into your daily life. But most of all, there will be an invitation into my journey, in the hopes that it will help you will feel less alone in yours.
